Guests reserve an item so no one buys the same thing, then buy it in the shop themselves. Reservations expire after the time you set and can be released. Reserving is never a purchase.

No. Bank transfers happen in your guests' own banking apps, straight to the account you choose. Their “I've sent a gift” note stays pending until you confirm it.
